Colleen's love of adventure and travel comes from her upbringing in a diverse city in Canada. After living in Oaxaca, Mexico, she returned home to attend Wilfrid Laurier University. After graduation, she spent time as a travel guide in Central America and eventually moved to Melbourne, Australia to pursue her teaching degree at LaTrobe University. In Sydney, she met her future husband, Danny, and moved to Southern California to begin their life together. In 2004, they exchanged surfing in San Clemente for the community of Jackson as teachers.
Colleen loves floating the river, visiting local hot springs, running, biking, snowboarding, admiring the wildlife and adventuring throughout the historic places. Jackson is truly a magical place with a soulful community.
